Things have changed
Please read below for an important update regarding the John Lewis Investments and Nutmeg Saving and Investment Ltd partnership
What was the relationship between John Lewis Investments and Nutmeg?
John Lewis Finance was an appointed representative of Nutmeg Saving and Investment Ltd. This means they were authorised to introduce customers to Nutmeg’s investment products. Through this relationship, John Lewis Finance customers were able to invest in General Investment Accounts (GIA), stocks and shares ISAs (ISA) and Junior ISAs (JISA), all managed by Nutmeg's expert team under the John Lewis Investments branding.
What's changed, and when?
On 15 August 2024, we informed John Lewis Investments customers that John Lewis Finance will no longer offer investment products from 15 October 2024. This means if you were a John Lewis Investments customer, you'll automatically have become a Nutmeg customer from 15 October 2024, unless you chose to withdraw or transfer your money out to another provider.
If you've initiated a withdrawal or transfer to a new provider and it's still in progress on 15 October 2024, you will remain a John Lewis Investments customer and will be able to access your account until the withdrawal or transfer is complete. You will have received an email with a link to continue accessing your account until this is complete. Once the withdrawal or transfer is complete, your account will be closed.
What should I do now?
If you did not withdraw and close your account, or if you have not transferred to another account, your account will have automatically transitioned to Nutmeg on 15 October 2024. You will now be a Nutmeg customer, and you will receive a ‘welcome email’ to let you know your account is ready. You will be able to visit nutmeg.com and log in to your investment account and manage your investments, and your monthly investment update emails will come directly from the Nutmeg team.
You can use the same username and password. You’ll be able to access the login page through the top right-hand corner of the Nutmeg website, or you can download their mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.
