Meet the investment team
Nutmeg portfolios are built and managed by our experienced in-house investment team, in line with the core principles of our investment philosophy.
Our different investment styles allow you to choose the right type of management for you. No matter what style you choose, our investment process draws on the team's collective expertise. This encompasses investment strategy, financial market research, macroeconomic analysis, ETF selection and execution, investment risk management and quantitative research. Our investment team works hand in hand with our in-house trading team to ensure that, where we adjust our investment portfolios, we do so with precision and care, leveraging our proprietary technology to reduce costs.
For our Fully Managed, Thematic Investing and Socially Responsible Investing portfolios, our asset allocation follows an 'active approach'. This means our investment team regularly makes tactical adjustments, to incorporate and benefit from the team's continual analysis of economic and financial market trends. For our Smart Alpha portfolios, we also work with the multi-asset team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management to inform our strategic asset allocation. For investors who prefer a more passive management style, our Fixed Allocation portfolios are designed to perform without regular intervention, with the investment team conducting an in-depth review of your portfolio once a year to check that it is well-diversified and in line with your chosen risk level.

As with all investing, your capital is at risk. The value of your investments with Nutmeg can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you invest. Thematic investing carries specific risks and is not for everyone.
